BackgroundĪlibaba started publishing monthly lists of their banned paid suppliers in April 2010.ĭuring this period Alibaba was under increasing pressure to explain why there were so many cases of fraud occurring with their "Gold Suppliers" and it is likely that lists of suppliers banned on Alibaba was a response to this.
In this article we provide some background to why these lists may have been published and replicate in full the names of the suppliers banned on Alibaba. Each month between April 2010 and March 2013 Alibaba published on their website a list of the paid gold members that had been banned from their platform that month.
